One day I was inspired by Brother David's meditation on a grateful day to look up at the sky while I was stopped at a traffic light.


What I saw brought me to tears in the ordinariness of it, but also in its beauty.

Common city birds were sitting together on, I assume, telephone wires. Just hanging out, being, not in any rush to go anywhere or do anything. Simply surveilling the environment. Basically, they were being what we should all be being.

"Be inspired by the wisdom of nature," this collage entreats.
